NFT BUSAN 2021, the largest festival event in Korea in the field, opened in BEXCO, Busan.

The Busan Blockchain Industry Association announced that "NFT Busan 2021" will be held offline and online (including YouTube) from the 4th to the 6th.
First of all, about 100 people attended the opening ceremony of the previous day, including Busan City Mayor Park Hyung-joon, City Council Chairman Shin Sang-hae, National Assembly Member Kim Hee-gon, Busan Blockchain Industry Association Chairman Kim Tae-kyung, and Busan Techno Park President Kim Hyung-kyun
A memorandum of understanding (MOU) has been signed between Busan City, Coinone, Onther Inc, and Baobab Partners.
Through this MOU, Onther Inc, and Baobab Partners will actively cooperate in the development of the Busan blockchain industry by moving their headquarters to Busan and hiring new workers.
Park Hyung-joon, Mayor of Busan City, said, "With the opening ceremony, we will sign MOUs on the relocation of offshore companies such as Coinone, Blockchain Platform Company Onder, and Blockchain Technology Development Company Baobab Partners," adding, "We believe that Busan Blockchain Industry Association and other public and government will work together to create a sustainable blockchain ecosystem in Busan."
At the conference, domestic and foreign industry experts will participate as speakers to explain trends of major companies and cases of NFT application.
Various speakers from home and abroad will participate, including Kim Won-san, head of Ground X's business strategy support team, Park Kwang-seh, chief operating officer of Lambda 256, and Hamish Barnes, head of OpenC's growth and community.
Busan City Mayor Park Hyung-joon said, "Isn't it the first festival in Korea where citizens can enjoy various information such as issuing NFTs and experiencing auction?" and added, "We will expand the blockchain playground so that related companies, including the Busan Blockchain Industry Association, can play more enthusiastically."
Meanwhile, Mirae Asset, Shinhan Bank, Barunson Labs, Onther Inc, Baobab Partners, and Sejong Telecom participated in the event hosted by Busan Metropolitan City and organized by the Busan Blockchain Association and BEXCO.
